Following Update 100 I have tentatively returned to Payday 2 - Overkill removed the feature I loathed, therefore it became a bit stupid to ignore my Bank Heist addiction any further. The cynical will say that Overkill were making less money and did a U-turn, the kind will say that they were forced into it and learned their lesson. Either way, given how I feel about gambling, now is a good time to re-engage with the game and "reward" or perhaps just "incentivise" the less ruthless business model.

I'm not going to be doing much wiki work though and I'm not keen to have admin rights back. The place appears to be in pretty good hands.

I'm leaving all the general discussion of the microtransaction omnishambles up though, I wouldn't want it to be forgotten by this community or any other.

Following update 79 I have resigned as an admin of the Payday 2 wiki. I am unlikely to be anywhere near as active in the game or on the wiki as I was before. I wish all the best to those of you who continue to enjoy the game and the community and I have enjoyed playing and editing and discussing this game with all of you.
