Contracts are a form of progression based challenges that offer unique rewards in PAYDAY 3, added it in Update 3.3.
Preview of Contracts.
Overview
Contracts are broken into four separate Assignments, with each being unlocked in sequential order, with a reward being granted once all four are completed.
A single Contract Assignment can be completed, with the progress of each Assignment able to be tracked in the in-heist menu. Once an Assignment is completed, the next sequential Assignment can be completed as well in a single run of a heist. Besides heist completions based Assignments, completing a heist is not required for an Assignment to be completed.
"Ever been to the Neon Cradle? Shitty club, but Vlad tells me they keep their money on a crypto-wallet. I can decrypt that, no problem. All you have to do is round some loot to bribe the bouncer, scope out the security system, then snag the wallet without getting seen. I hear they got cash around, so grab that too. Old money is still money."
"As you know, stealth requires more than a light step. Nimble fingers are crucial. I'm designing new gloves to provide exactly that. Reflex boosters, vibration sensors, that sort of thing. I just need a little field research to complete the work. Will you indulge me?"
"Back in Afghanistan, I read a lot of Sun Tzu. 'Know thine enemy.' That line always stuck with me. Could be a good way to handle these Special Units the cops keep throwing at you. When you're on the battlefield, study the assholes. Then, give 'em a taste of their own medicine."
"I need you to stress-test some sample material I received from Erangel. It's supposed to be rugged, nimble, and combat-ready. I want you to run it through its paces before I add it to my stock. Can you kindly help an old tailor out?"
"Loved your work at the Stock Exchange! It gave me an idea, too. Patricia Sharke's high-society friends own a lot of shares in GenSec. If you can make their security services look...you know...bad, the stock value will drop, and all the rich assholes will sell off at the same time. A certain bank will get a huge influx of cash. See where I'm going with this?"
"In my eternal quest for the perfect fit, I’m always searching for inspiration. What do everyday people wear? What types of clothing are they shopping for online, and what sells in the art scene? Hope your camera work is up to par."
"There's a shipment of valuables gems coming to Ashton Fine Jewelry. I have a buyer lined up, but he's a tad superstitious. To be blunt, he thinks the gems are...cursed. Once you steal them, you'll need to prove the Payday Gang's luck hasn't run out. A few death-defying feats should do the trick. I know it's silly, but the money will be worth it!"
"The cops have been breathing down my neck. It’s getting hard to shift inventory. If you hit a high-value target and thin out the ranks, it’ll pull some eyeballs off my operation for a bit. And make it messy. Whadda you say?"
"I've been selling guns to this drug lord since he was small-time. Now that he's on the rise, Mr. Big Shot thinks he can shortchange me. Do me a favor? Put the asshole in his place. Take his shit off the street, then pay a visit to his fancy new penthouse. On your way, break out the premium firepower. I want my signature on this."
"Get a tip from inside the NYPD. Someone poured sugar in the gas tanks of the harbor patrol boats. All of them. Crippled their response time. I have a list of waterfront targets we've been meaning to hit. Up for a little spree? You might smell fishy afterwards, but I've got just the fix."
"According to The Gateway Report, one in ten Americans think they can stop a bank heist single-handed. Crazy, right? All these 'heroes' can't be good for business, so let's give the public a serious wake-up call. Go and freak out some hostages. Really make a show of it! Once people see what you can do, word of mouth will take care of the rest."
"Some fucking punks are questioning my hardware. I figured I’ll show them what my merchandise can do, so I can seal the deal. But being stuck in this chair, I need some help. You feel like raising some hell?"
