The Baseball Bat is a melee weapon available in PAYDAY 2, added with the release of the Hotline Miami DLC. It becomes available for use at reputation level 18.

Overview

The Baseball Bat is basically a smaller variant of the Lucille Baseball Bat, having slightly lower range but a slightly faster swing speed. It is also unlocked much earlier.

Tips

Players deal more damage per second with this weapon by attacking as quickly as possible, rather than fully charging attacks.
If a player wishes for more damage, it is recommended that they get Berserker, Pumping Iron and Bloodthirst Aced from the Brawler skill tree.
If a player wishes for more knockdown, use Martial Arts Aced.

Achievements

Do You Like Hurting Other People?
In the Hotline Miami job, kill 30 thugs with the Baseball Bat. Unlocks the Dennis mask, Solid Stock for the Uzi submachine gun, Wooden Grip for the Cobra submachine gun, "Rubber" material and "Hip to Be Polygon" pattern.

Trivia

The Baseball Bat is based on its appearance in Hotline Miami, one of the most common melee weapons in the game.
Prior to its inclusion in the Hotline Miami DLC, the Lucille Baseball Bat held the name of this weapon.
The sticker on the bat reads "El Puñetazo", which means "The Punch" in Spanish.
The Baseball Bat can be seen in The Alesso Heist in the Hall of Fame.
